1. Start with open two images and make sure they both are in RGB color mode. Image | Mode | RGB color.
2. Now select one of the images (the smaller one), Select | All, and copy it to the clipboard, Edit | Copy, and paste it into the other image, Edit | Paste.
This doesn’t look good, huh !
3.Note that you now have got to layers. Move the upper image to the area where you want it to be located.
Zoom in and remove the parts you don’t want to be there, note that you have to use the Eraser Tool. To change the eraser tool size simple change the “brush” size, they are the same.
Now simply change the opacity for this layer to about 50%, and remember that as long as you have your layer left you can move it where ever you want on the image.
